Mahabharat Episode 28: Several days later, he told Yudhishthira, "I am dividing this kingdom. Your half will be Khandavaprastha. I would like you to settle down there with your brothers, wife and mother. Khandavaprastha was a sparsely populated area with  meagre facilities for trade and agriculture. However, the Pandavas did not grumble and developed Khandavaprastha as their capital city. All the five brothers worked very hard to bring prosperity to their land. People joined them in their efforts and soon Khandavaprastha became as glorious as Hastinapur.
