Mahabharat Episode 215: The arrows shot at him were so closely pinned to his body that when he fell, a bed of arrows supported him above the ground. On noticing this, both sides stopped their fight. Everybody wanted to pay their homage to the great warrior. Arjuna and Krishna also reached there. There was no support under Bhishma's head and so his head was dangling. Duryodhana shouted at one of his soldiers, "Quick! Bring some pillows from my camp." But Bhishma forbade him to do so. Arjuna took out three arrows from his quiver and shot them in the ground.
