Mahabharat Episode 217: After lying there for sometime in meditation he called Duryodhana and said, "Son! Still there is some hope left. Stop this battle and give the Pandavas their due. You will get nothing out of this war except destruction. Please try to understand. Take this as a final warning or else the whole Kaurava dynasty will certainly meet its end." But, Duryodhana had made up his mind not to heed to anybody's advice. Moreover, he was peeved to hear Bhishma's advice. He left that place in a huff with his soldiers. Karna arrived on hearing Bhishma's fall.
